Our Sixth Form is exceptional: A vibrant, friendly and happy community in which students thrive and flourish academically, socially, personally and intellectually. Every student is valued and is able to follow a bespoke programme of study, in an environment that is warm, supportive and caring.
Great emphasis is placed on pastoral care and student well-being here. The Head of Sixth Form has overall responsibility for the Sixth Form, supported by a Head of Year 12 and a Head of Year 13; each responsible for the pastoral care and the well-being of the students in their year group.

I’ve loved every minute of Sixth Form life at Bourne Grammar School. The range of extracurricular activities and ways to get involved is phenomenal.
I joined BGS from another school in Year 12 and since then I have been impressed by the excellent quality of teaching that I have received here.
The support I have been provided academically by teachers and pastorally has been amazing, helping my journey through my A-Levels.
My time as a Sixth Form student here at Bourne Grammar School has been excellent due to the constant support and guidance I’ve received both within my subjects and outside too.
