Our Sixth Form is exceptional: A vibrant, friendly and happy community in which students thrive and flourish academically, socially, personally and intellectually. Every student is valued and is able to follow a bespoke programme of study, in an environment that is warm, supportive and caring.
Great emphasis is placed on pastoral care and student well-being here. The Head of Sixth Form has overall responsibility for the Sixth Form, supported by a Head of Year 12 and a Head of Year 13; each responsible for the pastoral care and the well-being of the students in their year group.

Mrs H K Tomlinson
Head of Sixth Form

I love the independence that sixth form gives me… The teachers treat you more like adults and offer loads of support.

There is a wealth of opportunities such as the Elective program… There is always a chance to do something that you like.

The difference from GCSE to A level is a big jump however Bourne Grammar has supported me through every step and aided me when I needed support.

The staff are really friendly, and when you have free periods, you have a lot of independence, as the teachers trust you.
