Design Engineering – Mighty Mechanisms
This term in Design Engineering, Year 7 students have been making their cam box toys.
They have been learning about cams, pulleys, motors and applying their knowledge to make their own toy. Their bespoke parts have been designed using CAD – SolidWorks and 2D Design- and cut out on the lasercutter. They have been fitting the custom parts and testing. As you can see from the below photos there has been some excellent projects made. Well done Year 7!
