Trips Information
We believe that learning extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. Working in collaboration with external providers, our school trips are designed to inspire curiosity, foster independence, and enhance the educational experience through real-world engagement.
Our local area is a rich with cultural, historical, and natural resources. From museums and historical landmarks to nature reserves and local businesses, our students embark on immersive local visits that complement classroom learning. These outings not only enrich our curriculum but also deepen students’ connection to their community.
We offer international trips that open the door to new cultures and experiences for those wishing to broaden their horizons. Students have the opportunity to explore landmarks and develop a broader worldview. These journeys are designed to challenge students, helping them to grow as individuals. Students engage in critical thinking and problem-solving while applying their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Our trips are designed not only to educate but also to develop essential life skills. Students enhance their teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities through group activities and challenges. By navigating new environments and situations students are encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and their learning.
Our Trips not only enhance academic achievement but also foster personal growth. At Bourne Grammar School, we are committed to providing enriching experiences that shape well-rounded individuals ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Students will have the opportunity to take part in compulsory, curriculum-based fieldwork trips and can opt in to the more adventurous activity trips to develop their core skills.
