A Level French

Now that you have completed your GCSE course, you will have the perfect foundation to build upon in preparation for A Level French. However, the transition from GCSE French to A Level Year one can be quite challenging.

The documents of advice, guidance and exercises on this webpage aim to make it easier for you to bridge the gap.

Preparing well for A Level French can be achieved by revising relevant topic vocabulary and grammar points, practising key skills such as listening, translating and reading and developing further your cultural knowledge of France and French speaking countries.
